Ondrej Svab-Zamazal

Hi, I am a PhD student at the Department of Information and Knowledge Engineering (DIKE) at the Prague University of Economics (UEP). I am member of the virtual Knowledge Engineering Group (KEG) at DIKE and my supervisor is Vojtech Svatek. Currently I am in my fourth year of studies.
My areas of interest are: ontology matching (techniques, evaluation), uncertainty in ontologies, semantic web query languages, knowledge discovery, information extraction and expert systems.

Research

I participate in several running projects at DIKE.

My main current research lies in the field of Ontology Matching:

• employing bayesian networks in order to match ontologies,
• evaluation of ontology correspondences within OAEI, different a posteriori methods,
• studying different kinds of patterns in ontologies and within ontology correspondences for enhancing ontology matching process,
• transformation of ontologies for adapting them regarding different use-cases (see on-going PatOMat project).
