the Department of Public Finance at the University of Economics in Prague. I
teach courses on Fiscal Federalism, Bachelors Thesis Seminar and Public
Finance.

Municipal budgetary process (back)
I am interested in
the municipal budgetary process for years. Between 2003 and 2005 I elaborated
the research project „Municipal budgetary process“ sponsored by the Czech
science foundation No. 402/03/P068.
Local government finance (back)
I was a member of
the NISPAcee working group on Public sector finance and
accounting between 2004 and 2010. Since 2007 I served as one of the
coordinators of this working group. During the years the country case studies
on the following topics were elaborated:
local
fees,
budgetary process (1)

municipal
debt,
tax
assignment,
property
tax,
municipal
asset management
a impacts
of economic decline on municipal management.
At the same time I
have edited two books resulting from the activity of the working group: Property Tax in Economies in Transition:
Selected Case Studies a Municipal Asset Management in Transition
Countries: Selected Case Studies.
